One Liners

GRADE: All

A “one-liner” is a short, easy-to-remember explanation of the essence of a ברכה or תפלה. They are quick and to-the-point, so it is easy to incorporate them into tefillah-time.

Objective:
1) For the children to think, understand, and internalize the main idea of the תפלה or ברכה they are about to say.
2) To help the children feel a connection to Hashem.

SAMPLE ONE LINER:

אשר נתן לשכוי בינה: Thank You Hashem for giving me a heart that knows when it is day or night
